Our Founder
Kristina Theodore
Kristina is the founder and owner of PLUSH, a thriving six-figure esthetics business specializing in skin, waxing, and makeup, established in 2022. Her journey into beauty began while attending Howard University in Washington, D.C., where her grandmother gifted her first set of MAC brushes, sparking an immediate love for color, creativity, and the transformative power of makeup artistry.
Kristina expanded her passion into a professional career, building a diverse portfolio that includes makeup, facial services, and full-body waxing. She has worked with leading artistry brands such as Sephora and currently MAC Cosmetics, and is honored to have worked with celebrity talents including Jasmine Guy, Angela Robinson (OWN/Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots), Faith Evans, and Urban One Founder and CEO, Cathy Hughes.
As the visionary behind PLUSH, Kristina has built her business on a foundation of excellence, client care, and education. Her mission as an owner is to create a space where aspiring beauty professionals are empowered to grow, succeed, and lead with purpose in the ever-evolving beauty industry.

We’ve incorporated PCA Skin into our curriculum to prepare students for careers in medical spas, dermatology, and plastic surgery settings.
